Jim Boldt, ChFC®, CLU®, CFE®, LUTCF®
Agency Principal & Financial Advisor
Jim Boldt brings over four decades of experience in the financial services industry. His career has included roles as an agent, agency manager, and now independent agency owner and investment advisor providing personalized retirement and wealth planning.
Jim holds several respected professional designations, including the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) from The American College, reflecting advanced training in insurance planning, comprehensive financial strategy, and client-focused advisory work. He also earned the Certified Financial Educator® (CFE) designation through the Heartland Institute of Financial Education, demonstrating his commitment to providing clear, effective financial education to individuals and groups. These designations require rigorous coursework, examinations, and ethical standards, underscoring Jim’s depth of knowledge and long-term dedication to professional excellence.
Throughout his career, Jim has been an active leader in the professional community. He served as President and Board Member of the Society of Financial Planning Professionals (SFSP) in Kansas City and is a long-
standing member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Beyond his professional life, Jim is a member of St. Paul Parish in Olathe, where he participates in several ministries. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, adult children, and grandchildren.

Jason Magnuson
Sales Manager & Agent
Jason brings over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning both personal and commercial lines. His background includes work in claims, underwriting, and agency sales. He spent ten years with Texas Pioneer Farm Mutual as an adjuster and underwriter, followed by three years with State Farm, where he advanced to become a Sales Team Leader and Office Manager.
Jason’s deep industry knowledge and genuine care for clients set him apart. His dedication and integrity have helped him build a business based largely on referrals—a true testament to the trust and satisfaction of those he serves.
Originally from Olathe, Kansas, Jason moved to Austin, Texas in 2008, where he met his wife, Hannah. They currently reside in Pflugerville, Texas, and plan to relocate to the Kansas City area in the near future. Together, they have two children.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing disc golf, and pursuing his creative side through audio engineering, a field in which he holds a degree. Before joining the insurance industry, he played in several bands in the Austin area and contributed to various audio projects.

Margo McGinnis
Lead Agent
Margo has over 25 years of experience in property and casualty insurance. Early in her career, she worked alongside her husband, Kent McGinnis, building a successful agency that served clients throughout
Lenexa and the greater Kansas City metro area.
In June 2021, Margo joined O’Malley-Boldt Insurance as a partner and lead agent, where she continues to provide exceptional service to our clients for all their property and casualty needs.
A Lenexa resident since 1993, Margo is the proud mother of one daughter and three sons. Outside the office, she enjoys working out and participating in several recreational sports leagues.
Margo’s extensive experience and friendly disposition make her a tremendous asset to our agency. While serving our clients is always important, her top priority is ensuring each client has the right coverage for their individual needs. Alina Velez
Client Service & Office Administrator
Alina helps keep the firm running smoothly by managing schedules, coordinating day-to-day communications, and supporting overall business operations. She is committed to providing exceptional client service and brings a strong work ethic instilled by her parents. Her role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease—challenges she genuinely enjoys.
Before joining the team, Alina worked in health care, where she gained valuable experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and learned the importance of doing the job well. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and enjoys applying her coursework directly to her work at the firm.
Originally from Centerville, Kansas, Alina recently relocated to Johnson County. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and hanging out with friends.
